As the guests arrive

Before the ceremony

Music before the event will help to relax your guests and give them something to focus on as the await your arrival. 

During this time, your guitarist will play either special music arranged beforehand, or a collection of romantic and easy-listening classical music.

Your guitarist will arrive about an hour before the ceremony and introduce him/herself to the Church or civil ministers of the ceremony. 

Together, they will discuss and agree on the best location for the guitarist, together with the appropriate cues for where the music should begin and end, all according to the needs of the venue, of the registrar and also according to any instructions that you have specified beforehand.

Before the reception

Your guitarist will arrive early and make all the necessary arrangements with the hotel, restaurant or other hired staff as appropriate. 

They will make contact with whoever is overseeing the arrangements for your reception, and ensure that they position themselves and their equipment in the appropriate place.

The guitarist will then perform a 'sound check' to make sure that the music is just loud enough to be heard form every corner of the room, without being too loud or too near to any particular table.

Whether at the ceremony or the reception, your guitarist will be there in good time before the event begins.  All this will be done before the wedding party arrives.
