
| Credits:An experience pianist, singer, songwriter and an all-round entertainer with a quick wit and an obvious rapport. For 17 years she has been a producer and radio presenter for BBC Radio. Style: Informal 'Lounge' Piano with or without vocals. Also available as part of a superb Function Band. Biography: She is a classically trained musician, singer, songwriter and also an all round entertainer with a quick wit and an obvious rapport. She has studied piano, classical guitar, history of music, harmony and composition and is a writer-member of the Performing Right Society, where she has been placed in national song writing competitions (and has won a couple of local ones!) Her roots lie with the blues and rock music of the early 70s. She was the vocalist/keyboard player with the legendary Worcestershire band "Moonshine" during the late 70s and early 80s. In the late 80s and early 90s she formed the Midlands trio "Sarabande" with flautist Alan Tipple and guitarist Chris Dumville. | She spent four years as Composer in Residence at a Shropshire school, teaching Music, Speech and Drama, and her work has been performed at some prestigious and diverse venues, and for the last 17 years she has been a producer and presenter for BBC Radio. She also plays guitar at a children's party, holds concerts singing and playing piano, and also tours with her band. She can provide a complete evening’s entertainment, and is ideally suited for private dinners, house parties, corporate functions and weddings . She has a wealth of experience - and some amusing anecdotes!. In her spare time, she is busy with after dinner speeches, media-related workshops, voice training, recording corporate voice-overs and carrying out studio session work.
