 - Appropriate background music played for your guests to enjoy during the wedding breakfast.

 - Subtle amplification will be provided if required, to ensure that the music is heard but without being intrusive.

Biography:

Born in 1960 in London, he first took up the guitar at the age of eleven. Although his progress was rapid during his secondary school years, it wasn’t until his mid-thirties – following redundancy from his career in financial services – that he made the decision to be a career musician.

Formal study followed in both guitar and music studies, where he gained a Music A level as a mature student in 1997-99 (Edexel Board) achieving an A grade. Between 2000-02 he took a two year Music Diploma achieving a grade 2 pass.

This was combined with live performances with various function bands. In 1997 he performed with a Country-Rock band which went on to impact both the British Country music scene and the function circuit. The band played abroad in Italy in between 1998-1999, where they recorded two Country Music albums.

During this time, he joined forces with a couple of finger-style guitarists to form a guitar trio, in recognition of his growing appetite for playing finger style acoustic guitar, which was by now his preferred style.  The trio still performs regularly to this day, often adding musicians from his former Country-Rock band  to make up a five-piece act. The trio have also recorded two albums of their own, in 1999 and 2005.

Lately, he has operated in an increasingly ‘freelance’ role with his various performing projects and now devotes more resources to both his teaching duties at secondary schools and his position as a local representative for a Music Examinations Board.

Live Performances:

Renowned for his excellent ear, his versatility, his sensitivity on the nylon-strung guitar and his ability to arrange, notate and transcribe, he remains in high demand for session work, weddings and concerts.  

He has played at over 100 'Black Tie' and similar formal functions, provided Classical and Easy-Listening guitar music during dinner.  He has performed in numerous restaurants and currently plays regularly at an Italian Restaurant in his home town Kent. He has also played in quite a few concerts, usually as a guitar duet, and plays at an increasing number of weddings every summer.
