Biography:
He
took up the guitar in 1966 at the age of twelve and was completely self taught until he entered the City of Leeds College of Music in 1981.
He studied there with the well-known teacher and writer on guitar Dr Graham Wade. He graduated in 1984 and built up a successful teaching practice locally as well as performing in a variety of venues both solo and with his wife whom he met on a guitar summer school in 1987.
She took up the guitar at the age of fourteen in 1977 and studied with the well known Kent based teacher Norman Vaux. Since then she has performed with the Bromley Guitar Quartet, solo and as a duo with her husband.
As well as pursuing her career as a nurse, she also teaches at home and has recently gained the Trinity College advanced certificate in guitar performance.
They were married in 1989 and since then have performed their repertoire at a number of weddings and other occasions in the south of England.
