| Credits: A brilliant young guitarist who is very popular in his local community, playing at weddings, parties, charity events and public festivals. He has the ability not only to simply play well to an audience but also to engage them at a personal level, developing a rapport which is professional yet very warm and approachable. This combination of skill and a friendly personality makes him a perfect choice for small to medium size weddings, family parties and public festivals. Style: Classical, Romantic, Spanish and Popular guitar Training:He started playing classical guitar at the age of 11 and later studied music at his local college, achieving a B-Tech in Popular Music in 1998. He then went on to University, gaining a 2:1 BA/BSc (Hons) in Music & the Creative Arts in 2001. He later attained Grade 8 in Classical Guitar in 2005 under the tutorship of Neil Smith. Currently, he is working towards a performance diploma through the London College of Music. |

Performing Experience:He has been playing the guitar in public since 1991, and started giving classical guitar recitals at school & church concerts. During his College and University courses, he gave many public performances including venues such as The Boardwalk, Manchester (1996), Band on The Wall, Manchester (1997) and Traders Brassiere, Accrington (1997). He has travelled extensively performing with guitar bands throughout the UK at several events including London's The Garage (2004), Upstairs at The Garage (1995) and in the Rock Gardens (1995). In Liverpool, he has played at The Cavern (2003). In Manchester he had a regular spot at The Night and Day Cafe throughout 2003, and also played at the Life Cafe (2003) supporting newly signed bands. .JPG)
In 2004 he decided to focus on the classical guitar, and has since performed exclusively as a solo artist, playing for the BBC and appearing on both local and national television whilst performing at venues such as All Saints Church (Lincoln) and Pennoyer's School (Norfolk) which featured in the award-winning BBC programme Restoration Village. At many of the events, he has provided background music to create an ambience suited to each client's requirements and has given short recitals at civic and charitable events. Recently he became the first musician to perform, in amongst the bookcases, at his local library (photo on right) as part of the national "Make A Noise in Libraries" campaign - he says: " this was great fun, and gave me a chance to really interact with the borrowers, who were most surprised to see me there!"
