She was a very influential in encouraging him in his talents, and helped him discover his love for music from an early age. | He took up the guitar at the age of 16 and has never looked back. By age 20 he was performing daily at Spain's leading flamenco venue ‘Los Gallos’, in the Barrio de Santa Cruz in Seville and playing alongside top guitarists in the region.In 1997 he moved to London where he recorded and produced a CD for Naim Records and began teaching at Morley College. He has since performed at a wide variety of venues including Bloomsbury Theatre, the Royal Albert Hall and the Purcell Room amongst others. His growing reputation for mixing with artists from different backgrounds led him to study Indian, Jazz and Latin American music and to perform in the award-winning show ‘Ole’ as musician, actor and comedian.
His latest musical ventures include working with a Flamenco singer-dancer in a duet that incorporates Flamenco with Andalusian folk and Latin American songs. "The duo is a perfect vehicle to express ourselves as individuals and as a couple" he says.
What makes his music so special, apart from his musical gifts, is the warmth and spirituality he brings to all his musical and personal encounters.Guitarist #2 (pictured left, above). Born in Marseille 1977 he started playing the guitar at 15 . In 1998 he moved to London where he received a diploma in foundation of popular music performance at a Guitar Institute. He is presently studying the foundations of flamenco guitar with his duet partner who is also his teacher!
